Willy Zilla is a Rock’n’roll veteran. He has spent the last 12 years living out of hotels rooms, suitcases and tour buses. That’s a long time to be on the road, especially when you’re only 12 year-old yourself, but that’s life when you’re the son of a world-famous billionaire rock star, Rock Zilla. As the series begins, Willy’s life has just taken a U-turn. He doesn’t want the circus lifestyle any longer. He doesn’t want flunkies. He doesn’t want groupies. He doesn’t want reflected glory, preferential treatment, or even room service. All he wants is a normal life. Why ? Because the itinerant world of stardom, despite its privilege and allure, lacks the one thing that Willy, like most kids, wants more than anything else: friends of his age. But although Willy gets his wish when his famous rock star Dad goes into retirement, and the family – parents Rock and Crystal, and older sister Serenity – settles down in the small city of Silent Springs, his new life will present him with challenges a lot more difficult than those he’s accustomed to.
