Isabelle, the caretaker of a posh building in a chic neighborhood, comes to the aid of a rich businessman who has been taken ill. The businessman makes a mistake and believing he is dealing with a famous novelist, invites her to dinner to thank her. For a game, Isabelle accepts, and hides her true identity from him. But they see each other again, and again, and end up falling in love. Isabelle is caught up in her feelings, and becomes trapped in her web of lies. And she knows that their relationship, based on trickery and deception, will only last until the return of the person whose identity she stole, a few weeks at the most.
