Carrot Top is a small red-headed boy of about 10 years old. He discovers that some of life’s realities are a little hard, but he faces them with courage, vitality, good will and, above all, humour as he learns from his own experiences and the insights of his friends. Carrot Top has a strong desire to connect with his family, especially with his father. But the central relationship in the stories is between him and his stepmother, Mrs Lepic. They don’t get along well, and the tensions lead to many situations that challenge the boy. Adapted from the novel of Jules Renard.
